The Holy Ghost is often depicted in this interaction as a white dove. That would have put me off for a start.

As a Christian . . . I respect your freedom of speech to make what might be consider slanderous insults regarding important events of our faith. No bomb threats and no curses. :-)
But as I read through your comments, I though some of them really rang true . . . “let me speak slowly . . . this may come as a shock.” Imagine, if it’s true, how totally earth shattering it was to Mary. I find it stunning!

Firstly, my observations could be considered irreverent perhaps, but technically not slanderous. Slander is a specific term that refers to false accusations that may damage someone’s reputation. I doubt that anything I could say could damage God’s reputation, accepting for a moment that He even exists.
As for the statement being true, well, all I have to say is: Imagine if people were really being abducted in the thousands by aliens! Imagine if the world was created by a giant singing serpent! Imagine if the earth were hollow and inhabited by intelligent races. Imagine!
People have imagined all these things. Humans are really good at imagining. That does not guarantee at all that aliens, Rainbow Serpents, a hollow earth or an Immaculate Conception are in any way connected with reality.
