Today it is three years since my beautiful Kate left this place. I’m thinking of you buddy. Rest in peace my love.
Where was that photo taken, Pete?
That was taken in Central Park in New York on April 1, 1996. The day we were married.
I don’t know the ascii-art equivalent for an arm around a shoulder and no words to express, but – yeah.
lightbeams, pete- hugs, all that good stuff. kate’s smile says it all…
Beautiful woman, Rev.
I never met her, but may she rest in peace. My heart goes out to you today Rev.
All our best thoughts and wishes from America.
…and I of you Pete. Kindly. Always.
I’m sorry. Anniversaries like this one are always hard.
Thank you all for your kind thoughts. If there’s one thing I’ve learned from dealing with the loss of someone I loved with every part of my soul, it’s to treasure all those things I still do have. Including, most importantly, my wonderful friends.
Life is a glorious cycle of song!
Sorry to hear about your loss. I could only imagine what you must have gone through.
As I have been away and I am now in the snow in March I am thinking of Kate. We miss her terribly and we shall not forget her. Dear Rev I was sorry to miss the beach n’ chips event, but I was there in spirit…..
I had a dream last night, in which I was flying in a small plane. We went over a cliff and dropped down toward the sea. It was scary, but I felt safe. When we landed, we were at some kind of resort. There were a number of people there who I knew, some of whom have died in recent times. One of them was an old tutor I had in film school, a wonderful chap. He looked happy and healthy – and a man of about 40, much younger than I had ever known him. Kate was there. She was a young girl. It was strange. But nice.
