Tetherd Cow Ahead Presents: The Baffling Bible
Episode #5: Leviticus 20:13
*It’s AOK if one of the parties is an Angel.
Yes, but even angels can’t gather sticks!
Pil – I’m glad they did it without the camp. Nothing like a flapping wrist and exaggerated lisp to ruin a good stoning.
Which angel is that?
Is there a Fagael?
Cissy: Exactly. Say what you like about those early
idiotsChristians, they weren’t frivolous.Pil: Now there’s a good biblical illustration of how sticks & stonings can break your bones.
Cissy Strutt: Those early Christians didn’t know if they were Balthazar or Melchizedek.
Joey: I think they were all partial to hand-holding with other gents, as near as tI can tell from all the illustrations.
They’ve always been obsessed with sticks and stones, Rev, just check out old Deuternomy and his wisdom…
23:1 He that is wounded in the stones, or hath his privy member cut off, shall not enter into the congregation of the LORD.
Well it’s a gelding for me then!
The King
I had an angel once. But he fell.
Very sad story.
Evry laxity in th law is bound to be abusd.
Ol Eliezer jus got caught stealin away wif a cherub.
I’m going to have to consult the legal department on this. Leviticus 20:13 seems to directly contradict the 6th commandment.
King Willy: Yeah, well, couldn’t have any of the handicapped cluttering up Heaven, right?
MI: I think I’ve heard that story.
Joey: I’m looking for a rhyme there but I ain’t seeing it…
Mike: A contradiction? In the Bible? You’re kidding!
