I’ve been crazy busy this last week on my new project in LA, so not much time for The Cow, nor visiting you good folks. But a brief moment of respite today allows me to bring to you some more artwork. Not mine this time, but instead, some of the lovely cyanotypes that Violet Towne has been making.

Beautiful. You know, there’s a space on my wall …
…nor visiting you good folks.
Don’t forget us bad folks either. Joey and I get lonely.
pretty blue
Cissy Strutt: Well you’ll just have to take that up with VT at the Ladeez Nite.
Atlas: And just remind me who you were again?
Nurse Myra: Isn’t it just? A very Prussiany Cyan kind of blue.
the art therapist at the gimcrack (she’s now moved to your neck of the woods Reverend) has a daughter called Cyan
I knew Violet had cyan in her.
Probly some magenta too.
Nurse Myra: My current neck of the woods, or my residential neck of the woods?
Joey: Violet Towne is a woman of many colours… er… talents.
Residential. And her other daughter is called Magenta. Truly, I’m not just saying that because joey brought it up….
LA?! California? Geez! Come visit, Rev! ;D <3 Hehe! I wish you luck! Don’t get into that salt water taffy!
Beautiful artwork too. ^-^
LA? You got your green card? Don’t want to end up in Guantanamo while Dubya is still in charge.
Nurse Myra: Of course her other daughter is called Magenta.
Lexie: I’m staying away from the North Coast for the moment, but I am going up there eventually again, so I’ll do my best to avoid chomping on the coloured sugars…
Malach: Well, I’m not working, as such – just a lot of prep at the moment. But next year I will be. Anyway, George W loves us Aussies. We’re his best buddies. He said so.
where’s the iPhone view setting Rev?
for us sad types lying on lagoon beaches?
Pil: Lightbox isn’t supported by iPhone so sucks to you. You’ll just have to wait until you get back behind a desk like the rest of us.
Beautiful. I love cyanotypes. I’ve some 19th century ones here I’m getting framed, but VT’s are wonderful.
Colonel: I read somewhere that the principles behind cyanotypes are so simple that it should have been technically possible for the Ancient Egyptians to have made ‘photographs’ using a variation on the chemicals. Now wouldn’t that have been somethin’?
