Reminds me of the story [Link] I saw titled “Stroke a chicken over the internet,” which I subsequently immortalized (yeah right). Put these technologies together and a real cow gets milked.
This brings to mind the idea of internet telepresence experiments– something I’ve been more than just a bit fascinated with. There used to be more online lab experiments of this sort of thing floating around the web, but over the past years they’ve faded. Check this one out from the SRL folks from back in 1995:

Wait a minute, if Old MacDonald had a virtual cow, would there be a “moo moo” here and a “moo moo” there? Or would he just hear computer noises such as “blip” and “zzzz” here and there?
