#18: The Risky Rays.
In this episode, SGM finds himself appearing on behalf of the International Atomic Energy Agency and the International Organization for Standardization in their newly developed ionizing radiation warning symbol.
The unmistakable message of this warning must surely be: If you can read this sign, hoof it buster or you’ll end up as an emblem on a pirate flag.
There’s not a great likelihood that you might be mistaking the symbol as something jolly[tippy title=”¹”]Unless it’s a Jolly Roger, obviously[/tippy], I’ll give them that.
I don’t see a good outcome for SGM.

There are two messages.
(1) If the rays reach Simple Graphics Man, he has to run away.
However, (2) if the rays reach a skull at the same time, there is no danger to the skull and no need for it to run. This seems obvious to me, as skulls can’t move, and I don’t see why they have to waste space on the sign to tell us.
Has anyone else noticed that the skull appears to have no teeth?
And I’m not sure that SGM will be able to avoid the arrows this time.
Two questions. (1) How fast do radioactive ions travel? (2) How fast can SGM run?
Just keep your ion those signs and make sure you look atom so you don’t find yourself in a radiation area by mistake.
I thought the sign was saying the atomic frisbees smell, and they’ll get you whether you run or not.
Obviously if anything bad ever happens, I’m toast.
Is Risky Ray a friend of Safety Craig?
Up here in Bushland, they just tell us to get under our desks and cover our heads.
Aparently, Risky Rays will make you happy if yer already dead.
