Float

Speaking of seances – oh, we weren’t? Well we are now. Through the magic of YouTube I am able to bring you a clip that I made with some friends for my song ‘Float’ from the Perpetual Ocean CD ‘Houdini‘ (which you can buy in the iTunes shop if you are so inclined). The clip is a little dark for adequate internet viewing, but stick with it. It’s weird enough to be interesting…
It features the incomparable Jamie Leonarder, and the wonderful Robyne Dunn (who also did the vocals on the song). It was directed by Adrian van der Velde and shot and edited by yours truly.
Big thanks to jedimacfan for helping me sort out the @#$%$ technical problems with embedding YouTube vids. A Cow Blessing upon you!
?
Okay I got there (it wasn’t easy) and – whoa.
That’s one of my favorites from ‘Houdini’ by the way.
Oh. OK, I see what you mean. Something crap in the embed code from YouTube smashes the whole Cow site. I’ve pulled the code, sorry folks. Will have to try and figure this out tomorrow.
There we go. I discovered this – if I embed YouTube code in Safari, and then edit any of the text in Firefox and save it, it somehow corrupts the entire site when viewed in Firefox, even though it views completely correctly in Safari. Very, very weird.
Should look OK to everyone now. If anyone is viewing in Explorer can you let me know if it looks OK to you?
I expect to be reimbursed in full for all this downtime I’m experiencing.
You know, I hate elctronic music 99% of the time, but the groove and melody kick ass on that song. Good job. The video really fit the song, and the song was good, but I have a couple of questions:
Where are the cows? And really it looked kind of like…well…um…you summoned Sister Veronica?
Thanks Casey, I’m glad you liked it.
As far as cows are concerned, well, they like to stay well back in the shadows, and as far as summoning Sister Veronica – it’s hard to keep her out of the spotlight.
When are you going to surprise me and make something that’s not awesome for a change, eh?
Very cool.
I noticed Sister Veronica also.
Jamie is so perfect in this
Yes, he was rather good :)
