Today marks the end of five years since my gorgeous Kate left on that saddest and most mysterious of journeys. I remember her with great love, always.
What can I say?
All my sympathies and a hug.
But a manly hug–okay. None of those Atlas hugs from me.
She was so happy, you can see it shining.
One I first tripped over the cow and landed here, I read that post. She sounded like a beautiful person inside and out.
She is with you always.
Again, my condolences, my wife’s name in Kate, and I would hate to lose her.
By the way, what is in her cup?
Mike, you live in Texas now. Aren’t you used to gay hugs yet?
Aaaar, that must be rum in the fair lass’s tankard.
She looks as though she’s steering that poor vessel backwards..?
You’ll see her again Cap’n, of that I be sure.
Fair seas to ya.
The King

Ah the gorgeous girl …
Atlas–Not yet. I keep trying though.
Thanks all. It was, as always, a sad day, but I remember her just as she was in that photo – happy, laughing, cute and full of life in the most important way.
(The cup had mint julep or Pimms in it, from memory, and what you can see is the leftover mint.)
my sympathies as well.
