The Continuing Misfortunes Trepidations of Simple Graphics Man ~
#31: The Alien Abductions.
Recently, while SGM was undergoing some Past Life Therapy, it came to light that he had in fact been abducted on several occasions by aliens. This probably comes as no surprise to anyone.

A big thanks to Nurse Myra, who found me the great SGM badges on her recent trip to sunny Spain. I think that maybe she’s been hinting recently that I haven’t been prompt enough in bringing SGM’s alien adventures to your attention…

Hey that happened to me last night
But it looks like he’s being pulverised, not abducted.
SGM! He can’t do anything right!
Malach: Again?
Pil: I think they’re abducting him in the first one and then rejecting him in the other one. He prolly pushed a button he wasn’t supposed to on a control panel somewhere.
Oh SGM, what are you like?
This guy is dangerously close to infringing on my Stick Figure Creations
Sorry t be a killjoy, Revrend; but did you see th butchery some pirate-talkin hackr done to th poemskis on th last Rasputin post?
Oh! Th humanity!
And by th way, th “and a bottle of rum!” was automatickly added to my coment there. I dint write that. Is that YER doin, Rev, or have you been thorougly hackd?

Today’s date seems to have slipped you by, Young Joey! (Don’t worry, EVERYBODY missed it last year!)
Atchualy, theres a funny lil bhind-th-scenes story here thatd esplain my special alarm at th suddn prvasive pirate content here at th Cow. Might share it wif ya somtime.
Ah, please do tell!
(The pirate magic is just about to wear of for another year. I can’t tell you the mirth it causes me to go back and read some of the older posts in pirate language… Such a shame that no-one ever seems to visit during this time. Or else, they are so perplexed that they run away in fright!)
Yeah. Due to odd combinations o circumstances, I been havin to dlay and dlay and dlay th publickation o Volume IV o Poemski: Th Polanski Catalog. So now its atchualy been ovr a year since Volume III was postd. Anyhow, Atlas been askin me and askin me about it, since aftr a while its hard to find th posts wif poemskis attachd. As chance woud have it, just as we was approachin th 1-year mark (Sept 14), we was also approachin 100 Polanski poemskis since Volume III. Seemd real fittin to publish Volume IV on Sept 14, wif a evn 100 poemskis. Well, ocourse, that dint quite work out, since th poemski-count sorta stalld at 95; but, figgerin itll be publishd soon, and tinkerin now & then wit th post, I ockasionaly check to make sure all th links werk — includin sevral to TCA posts. You can imagine my horror when I seen em Rasputin poemskis “butcherd” a coupla days ago! While I was happy t learn that it was intentional, rversible, and temporary, I was also dangd glad that th Poemski IV post dint go up “on sckedule.” It wouda been like sckedulin a field trip to th Louvre on what happmd t be Intrnational Paint-a-Mustache-on-Mona-Lisa Day. Th good news that th mustache woud soon be rmoved woudnt a-made that field trip any less fuckd up. Talk about dodgin a bullet! :D
(Not that Im expecktin great readr-intrest in Poemski IV, by th way. Its mainly a nod to th die-hards.)

Actually, I’d pay extra to go on that one…
HAHAHA! I see yer point.
Bloomrs-on-Venus-de-Milo day, then.
Or bananas down her shorts. Actually, I’d pay money to see that, too…
